Some telecom firms have denied assertions by the National Communications Authority that they are not duly abiding by the rules of engagement in SIM card registration.
The NCA noted with grave concern that some agents of some Telcos do not follow through the rules governing the purchase and registration of SIM cards.
But in a statement, Vodafone Ghana said it has always complied with the NCA’s approved procedures for SIM registration.
Corporate Relations Manager at Airtel, Kwame Gyan told Joy Business Airtel does not only adhere to the rules but also follows-up to ensure that the right thing is done.
